- Ruth Alberta Martin was born August 23, 1932 to Oliver Gilbert Allen and Gay B. Morgan Allen. She married William Curtis Coleman in 1951. After his death in 1960, she married John Dennis Martin in 1971. Her children include Curtis Coleman and Bobby Coleman, and stepdaughters Judith Salmon, Barbara Martin, and Doris Quinn. Ruth Martin died February 6, 2021, and is buried in Pleasant Dale Memorial Park in Fincastle.
