- Davis George Jenkins "Brownie", also known as "Meat Man," "Boobie," and "Daddy B", was born on May 11, 1932 in Christiansburg to Cora King Jenkins and his father. He married Charlotte Jenkins. They had three children: LaTony Thompson, Lynn Andrews, Alphonso Gilbert, Jr. Davis Jenkins died on February 6, 2020, and is buried in Old Memorial Gardens. He lived in Greensboro, North Carolina, but previously in Roanoke.
