- Josephine "Jo" Collins, of Cloverdale was born in Hot Springs in 1928 to George Mason and Elsie Armstrong Carpenter. She married James "Ed" Collins, and had 3 children: Michael Collins, Frank Collins, Brenda Fowler, and 2 step-sons Jimmy Carter and Robert "Butch" Carter. Josephine Collins died June 10, 2021 and is buried at Mill Creek Cemetery.
