On the same day the election of one Elder and one Dacon took place. Votes ware given by Ballet and they ware younanamosly in favor of Peter Fluke as elder and Joseph Kessler as Dacon (sic)

October the 25th 1845 An election was held for Elder to serve in the place of Father Fluke, deceased. After baloting it appeared that Capt. Joseph Kessler the former Deacon was elected as Elder, and Capt Jacob Zimmerman as deacon in his place. They were inaugerated on the following day.
