Description: 1843, October the 19th. According to previous appoint. The congregation met for the purpose of electing church officers. An enomination was made as follows: for Elders:
Christian Hausman Sen.
Daniel Kestler Sen.
Christian Kestler Sen.
George Rader.

The Pastor Loci then called upon the congregation to give their vote; which was attended to and resulted as follows: Christian Hausman —- votes; Danl. Kestler _____ votes; Christian Kestler ____ votes; George Rader _____ votes, from which it appears that Daniel Kestler and George Rader were duly elected.

After the above election a nomination was made as follows for Deacon:
Christian Hausman
Christian Kestler
Christian Painter

The election resulted in the choice of Christian Painter.
On the 12th Day of November 1843 the brethren elected as Elders and Deacon were instaled acording to the form and custom of the Evangelical L. Church

1843 October the 19th
The congregation held a meeting at the church for the purpose of considering the discipline of the Evangelical L. Church as published in the Hymn Bood of said church by the General Synod.
After reading the discipline article by article and considering the same the vote was taken from all the members of the church present, and resulted in an unanimous vote in favour of the same, Thus it was adopted for the Government of the Church, in evidence of which the following members signed their names:
